About Us

Administrative Designs was founded in 1999 on the belief that all design firms, no matter their size (1-100+ staff) deserve and need the same highly organized administrative support and processes to assist them in getting the work in the door and out again with maximim efficiency and minimal problems.

Administrative Designs offers a full range of services to support all areas of design firms and related industries to include  staff training on a range of customer service and organizational management, administrative support/training, HR consulting, employee retention, benefits coordination, etc.  

In 2003 Robb also earned his Minnesota Realtor's License and is now able to provide a full range of real estate services to include office space location, leasing, purchasing and/or selling.  With experience in moving several large and small offices over the past several years, we can now offer 'one-stop-shopping' to our clients for all their relocation needs as well.

About Robb

Robb Olsen, Assoc. AIA, earned a degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in Architecture and has over 15 years of administrative and management experience to go along with it. He has managed several high profile architectural firms and performed just about every position known to a design firm. This 'hands-on' experience coupled with the academic background in design gives him a depth of understanding which is unique and rare in the design industry.
In 2000, Robb began creating and teaching CES courses at the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis through the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. His classes & seminars focus on the balancing of business and design. They include a wide range from customer service, simple administrative functions, and staff training, to supervisor training and creation of policies and procedures for better operation of any firm.
Robb was also a featured speaker at the Minnesota AIA convention in November 2001 and 2002.
